Description

Petit Guiraud Sauternes 2019DESCRIPTION Chteau Guiraud achieved the Organic Farming certification in early 2011 and has managed the vineyard using organic methods since1996. The first juices express balance and complexity in where the concentration combines perfectly with an amazing liveliness. Partly aged in oak barrels, the main characteristic of the wine is its freshness and its drinkability. WINE TYPE Sauvignon Blanc & Smillon COUNTRY France REGION Sauternes VINTAGE 2019

one of the emblematic wines of the village

The 14th vintage of rosé is 100% grenache

and dark plum

wood notes and with aging it develops aromas of game

The winery–founded in 2007 on a property that pioneered pre-prohibition Sonoma Valley winemaking–is managed by fourth-generation California farmers and brothers

the drink is a combination of pomegranate juice

but the white peach and honeysuckle aromas that emerge are stunning

The appellation of Bramaterra is unique in the region because of the ancient porphyric (volcanic rock) soils

artichokes

On the palate the wine is bright

rising dough

with the power and the complexity that are expected of a harvest with excellent climatic conditions
