Description

Rega ND5 MM CartridgeThe ND5 is a radical new cartridge from Rega. Hand built in the UK Rega factory, this model effectively replaces the Exact in the range, but is the culmination of 10 years of R&D into a revolutionary new design. Over the ND3 this features a much larger one piece (Nude) Elliptical profile diamond for reduced mass and improved energy transfer into the cantilever. Rega believe they have made the first Moving Magnet (MM) cartridge to have employed

more stable

but the reduction in distortion and noise is likely to bring blacker backgrounds

making them perfect for most mini monitor sized speakers

-Stylus Nude Shibata diamond

100 ohms (when head amplifier is connected)

Shibata styli are amongst the most costly to cut and are a diamond profile designed for exceptionally good detail retrieval and an unusually extended frequency response

This fits all Rega arms that have a coarse spiral 'cork screw' shaped tonearm stud (please see close up picture)

Fits Gyrodec
